PrismWork Co-Founder Corey Jones Succeeds Lisen Stromberg as CEO

(Plano, Texas, January 20, 2024) PrismWork, a leadership and workplace transformation consultancy, announced today that co-founder Corey Jones will transition from the position of Chief Innovation Officer to Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Co-founder Lisen Stromberg, the outgoing Chief Executive Officer, will remain an investor and move to an advisory role.

Additionally, co-founder Daina Middleton will step away from Chief Strategy Officer duties but will also remain an investor and move to an advisory role. Co-founder Alicia Goshe will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer.

“I’m grateful for the leadership that Lisen and Daina brought to PrismWork and the growth opportunities that they’ve provided for us,” Jones said. “I look forward to building on that foundation and their great work to continue to develop best-in-class modern leaders and highly inclusive, high-performing workplaces.”

Jones, who has been with PrismWork since 2021, specializes in building diverse teams and fostering cultures of empowerment and belonging. At PrismWork, he drove the development of the HEARTI leadership model, based on humility, empathy, accountability, resiliency, transparency, and inclusivity. In 2023, Jones and the PrismWork team were recognized as a South by Southwest (SXSW) Innovation Award Finalist for their HEARTI work. Along with Stromberg and frequent collaborator JeanAnn Nichols, he co-authored the best-selling book Intentional Power: The 6 Essential Leadership Skills for Triple Bottom Line Impact (Wiley, 2023).

Also at PrismWork, Jones co-authored “RESET: Men, Leadership, and the New World of Work,” a report published with the support of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and has led a variety of men’s leadership labs focused on actionable steps to create more inclusive workplaces and become better allies to historically marginalized groups.

Jones brings 20 years of leadership in the creative and innovation space to his role. Prior to PrismWork, he was an Executive Creative Director at Golin, a global public relations agency, and a Creative Director at AMS Pictures, a media company. In his personal time, Jones serves as the committee chair for B Local Texas, a non-profit with a vision of a purpose-driven economy.

As PrismWork moves into this new phase of leadership with Jones at the helm, Stromberg shared her excitement for the future. “Corey embodies the mission of all that we have done and continue to do to drive change,” she said. “I couldn’t be more proud of the work we have done and am excited to continue to support Corey, Alicia, the entire PrismWork team, and our clients as the organization evolves to meet the complex demands facing leaders and companies in the new world of work.”

Middleton also expressed her enthusiasm for PrismWork’s continued success. “PrismWork has been at the forefront of equipping leaders around the world to be allies that act every day to improve workplace experiences and company performance,” said Middleton. “I am delighted to support Corey on this journey as he guides the company to its next chapters.”

As CEO, Jones emphasized PrismWork’s commitment to developing highly inclusive, high-performing leaders and workplaces. “We firmly believe that inclusivity and allyship are essential attributes of best-in-class leaders and workplaces,” he said. “We look forward to supporting corporate executives as well as HR, learning, and diversity officers who are eager to make their organizations more inclusive, equitable, and equipped to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.”

PrismWork partners with mid-sized companies to global brands in diverse industries, including AB InBev (food and beverage), Bayer (pharmaceutical and biomedical), and Dell (technology). It offers a suite of services for leaders and workplaces of all types, including:

  • HEARTI:Leader Quotient for Individuals and Teams: Assessment and development tools to help leaders hone their HEARTI skills of humility, empathy, accountability, resiliency, transparency, and inclusivity.

  • Inclusive Leadership Lab and Allyship Workshops: Virtual or in-person workshops for teams and organizations that want to foster more inclusive, supportive workplaces for historically underrecognized groups, including women, LGBTQ+ communities, and racial and ethnic minorities.

  • Custom Solutions: Tailored leadership and workplace programs designed to meet the unique needs of an individual or organization.

PrismWork’s clients love the outcomes that arise from these engagements. AB InBev’s Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Jaclyn Senner had this to say.

“The PrismWork team is truly best-in-class! Again and again, from our Sales teams to our Supply organization, across thousands of employees, we have found the HEARTI Leadership model to be a relevant and approachable way to bring inclusive actions and decision-making to our teams. More recently, during a very challenging year for our business, we found the PrismWork team to be trustworthy and true partners to our leadership team. We could not have asked for more from the team – they were flexible, thoughtful, responsive and expert. There isn’t any better group to guide our teams to modern leadership and inclusion.”
